Description: Arrow Dive Club (prior Alhambra Dive Club) is a nonprofit competitive springboard diving team chartered through U.S. Diving. The diving program is to combine both Chinese and USA diving techniques with major emphasis being placed on building fundamentals skills and diving safety. The Learn to Dive Lesson Program offered by the Arrow Dive Club, is for the community to enjoy the sport of diving while at the same time provide an opportunity for children to improve their physical conditioning, mental toughness, and self-esteem through this sport. This program offers to teach basic diving skills such as body balance, spatial awareness, and water entry as well as the fundamental requirements of diving safety. The Arrow Dive Club is looking for some talented divers. If you have a background in sports, such as Gymnastic or Ballet....etc. Please contact coach Li to making appointment and arrange a free try out. The Learn to Dive Lessons will be instructed by Head Coach of Arrow Dive Club, Deliang Li: an Olympic medalist, former Chinese diving coach, and National level certified USA Diving coach Jaime Herrera. Deliang Li - originally from China, was a member of the People's Republic of China National Diving Team, twelve times China National Champion, and thirteen times International Champion. He was a gold medal winner at the World University Games 1991, Asia Games 1990, and FINA World Cup 1989 and was bronze medalist at the Olympic Games in Seoul, Korea 1988. Upon graduation from Beijing Sports and Physical Education University in 1994, Li served as Age group head coach for the Guangdong Physical Culture Institute of China for the next four years. The team, under his tutelage, won numerous medals in national and international competitions - his students include former China National Champions and World Junior Olympic Champions
