Description: Great Rivers 2-1-1 serves Buffalo, Chippewa, Crawford, Dunn, Eau Claire, Grant, Jackson, La Crosse, Monroe, Pepin, Richland, Temperature, and Vernon Counties in Wisconsin; Houston, Fillmore, and Winona Counties in Minnesota; and Allamakee, Clayton, Fayette, Howard, and Winneshiek Counties in Iowa.
Great Rivers 2-1-1, formerly First Call For Help, plays a unique role throughout the Tri-State area by providing a central and easy to remember access point for people to obtain complete and current information on over 4,200 community and human service programs.
We take the confusion and guesswork out of finding the right place to call. By calling 2-1-1, you will receive free confidential assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
At different points in our lives, we can all use a little help whether it’s parenting concerns, putting food on the table, dealing with an abuse situation, or just making ends meet. But we don’t always know when - or where - to ask for that help. 2-1-1 is a place to make the connections that can help you find answers and prevent problems from getting more serious. Using a comprehensive resource database, 2-1-1 Information and Referral Specialists will listen to your needs and concerns, help you make informed decisions and link you to the right community resources.
