Description: The Minneapolis Aqautennial is a thirty-eight event, ten-day festival held annually during the third week of July drawing an estimated 800,000 guests. The Aqautennial produces one of Minnesota's largest parades, the nation's fourth largest fireworks show, milk carton boat races, sand castle competitions, running, events and programs for juniors and seniors and many other family-oriented activities. The festival has been going on for 60 years.
